What happened to < 750 power gear?
Why did Bungie automatically make all the gear below 750, 750 power?

To allow new players or returning players to participate in newer content that veteran players would be consuming when Shadowkeep released. Previously you had to grind power level to a certain point, even for some of the campaign missions.
