I've been playing guitar since I was about 8, but I didn't start taking it really seriously and practicing really good til quarantine happened (I'm 21 now). Originally picked it up because of guitar hero. Now I just like playing. It's nice hobby just for me.

All variants of clarinet and saxophone. Learned them in middle school and played all the way through college. It's been a good while since I've really played either one but on the rare occasion I pick one up it all comes back like riding a bike.

This is gonna be a long one... Piano: Learned it as a kid, still play it at least once a week Flute: First Classical instrument I learned, I play it when teaching flute. Saxophone: Learned the alto in middle school for jazz band, can play soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass. Play it occasionally for fun. Trombone: Learned it for college, recently came into possession of one that I now own. Play it for fun and to teach. Trumpet: The first instrument I owned, never learned how to properly play until high school, play it to help teach kids how to play brass. Bugle: Uncle gave this to me as a kid, the only thing I use it for is playing Reveille to wake up annoying house guests. Clarinet: Lost a bet in high school, Learned how to play it for a Clarinet Choir. Personally despise it but it’s fun to play. Drums: All of them. Yes, including conga drums and snare. Drum set: I count this as separate from standard drums because it requires more focus. Bar instruments: This is the percussion stuff, from xylophones to marimbas, even bells. Technically the kind most people think of but also the actual instrument. Bass Guitar: Just a four string. Never could figure out the 12 string. Violin: Played in my College orchestra. -Blam!- you Randy, I should have been first chair. Cheating c**t Stand up Bass: Jazz orchestra I was a part of for a bit until it fizzled out because the guy who thought of it got hit by a truck. It’s in storage currently. Guitar: Mostly use it to seduce people. That’s it. All I use it for. Vocals: I sing too, so I guess I’m also an instrument. Baritone/Bass. Go Carolling every Christmas with a local church who seems to be chill with the fact I’m openly gay. That’s it. Also some double reed instruments but I kinda suck so not counting those. No I won’t record anything for you, my microphone is a toaster and so is my computer, It’d sound like shit.
-
Piano: I do it to relax. I prefer to play for myself but I'm comfortable playing for others on occasion. Drums: I'm not amazing at playing the drumset but it's fun as hell.

Piano because I wanted to be cool! 😎😁
-
Drums, because my band teacher in grade school wouldn't teach any instrument with strings so I couldn't learn the violin, and we only had one other drummer in the entire school so that's where they tossed me.

Drums and Piano. Used to play guitar years ago, but let my chops go. (Easier to write music on a piano). My tastes run towards the electric jazz end of things, so I'm considering picking mallets.

Clarinet from fourth grade through high school. I started to learn keyboard a few years back, but my dog died and I just couldn't get into it again. There was no joy for several years. Now I'm thinking about trying guitar since there's one around here somewhere that I got from a neighbor a long time ago.

piano, and garage band

I don’t. I’ve always wanted to learn the piano, though! I’ve never disliked any piece of music I’ve heard on a piano!
-
Trombone, because of reasons I honestly can’t remember.
Hecking Spitfires
Edited by H1vac: 10/20/2020 5:17:56 PMVarious drums, bits and bobs and drumset. I liked to bang things. School didn’t have many other bang’ers.

Edited by Capt. Kelp: 10/19/2020 6:28:21 PMPiano Reason? My mom is a piano teacher I also picked up a little bit of drums just for fun Oh yeah and on piano im classically trained (this only means that i can read sheet music and know music theory)

I still can't play the piano in my house with both hands!
-
Bass clarinet. Fat keys for a fat instrument that goes doot doot. If saxophones were sonic then bass clarinets are shadow

Edited by Cmirg: 10/19/2020 7:03:50 PMFlute, cause why not? I also want to pick up piccolo eventually. I used to play piano too, with a little bit of effort I could probably pick it up again.

I play guitar and a bit of piano. Really only use piano to play my rythm and lead guitar parts I write sound good together, and some random soundtracks I like. I also have been making EDM for a while if that counts. I do want to get a bass guitar so I can dabble in that as well. The reason why is because my parents made me play piano. Hated it. Started playing guitar because my dad has an old acoustic guitar and I thought anything could be better than piano. Turns out I loved it. Only recently started practicing piano again.

Whatever I can get my hands on, albeit just going with a flow. I can read sheet music, but have not played in a band since high-school. If i had a machine that put the harmonics in my head to an orchestra without clicking a computer and scripting, that would be great. Cause I got a lot I don't have enough hands or instruments for. That kind of power cannot be computed.

I play a mean zipper
