I am 110% for actually being able to fly our ships in the Destiny Universe. There are so many ways this can be implemented. Our ship is such a major aspect of Guardianship. Its hard to believe that our Guardians seem to fly all around the Solar System and never get harassed by any of our enemies... NEVER. The concept literally opens up a whole concept of extremely cool new ways to explore the Destiny Universe and earn all sorts of goodies and loot. If implemented correctly in a way that is easy to learn and fun to do... Wow... I can picture a lot of new gamers that previously did not have any interest in Destiny suddenly wanting to at least give it a go. The whole "Star Citizen/Elite Dangerous" concept of piloting a ship through space, landing on a planet and then getting out of your ship to explore has got a lot of gamers literally goin "space crazy"! I have to admit... I am one of them. Of course I am not saying that Destiny should take to flying ships as serious as SC or Elite, but it would definitely be extremely cool and as I said... If implemented correctly... It would put Destiny on a pedestal above the rest. With the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 Destiny 2 is gonna need a little push. Word is that people are wanting more than just "dark abilities" and a few new planets. I absolutely LOVE Destiny, but I have to admit... There are a lot of new games on the horizon that are offering change in big way. We have been stuck inside for months playing games and we are looking for something different! I'm telling ya... If an announcement were released that Destiny would be implementing space and planetary flight as a new cool way to explore and earn cool loot on top of everything else that Destiny has... The community would freak. I know I would! Remember how crazy the Warframe community reacted when they got the news of being able to actually fly through space! This will probably never happen... But man it would be so freakin cool... I'd even settle for a cool type of mini game like the Gummi ship in Kingdom Hearts...
