So have a bit of a first world issue. I will be staying with family who have very little bandwidth (5-10Mbps for a whole house, multiple devices) when beyond light comes out not to mention the new Xbox as well. I figured I will be able to take my SSD and just plug it in the new Xbox so I wouldn’t need to download the game again. But, I heard with beyond light, they are basically deleting the whole game and reinstalling about 60GB of data (can anyone confirm?)—given my BFE internet and average at a pretty hopefully 5mbps download will take about 30hours—something I do not want to do.
Given that, what would be the best option to download this quickly?
1. Some options I thought of were getting a hotel room and doing it there.
2. Finding a spectrum hotspot and figuring out how to run it from there with the mini tv In the car.
3. Buying the game as a disc. But, would this allow me not to use the internet to download anything but the inevitable patch? All of my other destiny games are downloaded so I am not sure it would even work with the new Xbox like that.
Are there any other options I am not seeing or options that you have done that would make easier to download?
Thanks!

Hi there, Yes, you will have to redownload Destiny for Beyond Light. Check out the 9/24/20 TWAB for more information. The update will be available the night before Beyond Light drops, with about 10 hours to download it before the launch of Beyond Light. I can't really tell you what the best option is because this is a really personal situation and there's multiple factors here. However, I can tell you that a disc will not help you, as the update will still need to be applied over the internet.
