So I got this idea awhile ago what if we had an infection mode in destiny 2? One thing that came to my mind first was that we're going to need to be able to tell the zombies from the humans, so make all the infected Taken guardians give them the dreadfang from D1. Maybe have an Alpha zombie-like in halo reach, the Alpha zombie can have an active camo ability, but it can still be seen. Alpha's should have an aura around their head to show they are the Alpha, but this should go away when invisible. Alright next is the Humans loadout. It should just be preset by the game itself mainly because letting everyone use whatever would ruin it spawn camping would be a big problem. Humans should have a Primary slot shotgun with decent range, a suitable ADS, and maybe a scavenger perk on it? The sidearm should feel good to shoot. Perhaps it breaks alpha zombie shields on a headshot and one-shot headshot regular zombies.
The last man standing should receive an over shield once they are the last man. Scavenger should be a perk on your sidearm and shotgun, making it so you don't run out of ammo so quickly. when a zombie your primary and secondary slots will be locked not letting you edited them meaning in-game the only weapon you can whole is the dreadfang. This could be an event that could come every weekend kinda like trials. Special loot could be added and a vendor that will come every weekend, the shotgun and sidearm from the game mode could earnable from the said vendor for doing a quest for them both along with the dreadfang. One of Dregon Yor's followers could be the vendor and would show up in a deep and dark part of the tower just so that the vanguard doesn't know about it.
