Last week during double nightfall loot, like a lot of other players, I played through the Nigthfalls a lot, completing over 25-30 runs (which is small compared to most others).
I turned all the Prisms I could into Shards, then I maxxed out on Prisms, leaving a stack of prisms in my mailbox for safe keeping.
Yesterday, I was running a Prophecy encounter over and over to try and get a particular item/roll to drop. I eventually received a message saying my mailbox was full and I should return to clear it out, only to find that it had already cleared out all my 'safe kept' items, and replaced them with meaningless blue items.
I understand the game warned me, but the warning was already too late and it automatically deleted countless hours worth of resources for a blue I don't want.
Is there a way to get these items back? Knowing that the mailbox does not keep items if superseded with random drops, I will immediately Masterwork some items to clear up space in my inventory.
If anyone could help me with where I could possibly appeal for this would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Edited by TheHaraamPolice: 9/28/2020 3:15:24 AMHey there! The postmaster is not to be meant as storage. You need to grab your items if they are important. Bungie does not replace in-game items that are lost, discarded, or consumed. I feel your frustration, its never fun and iI would love a priority system but this is exactly why you'll often hear warning about using post master as storage. Heck i even keep dim open in case i miss out on it getting full and to see if i have anything of value in there.
