My favorite events in the series have nothing to do with my own guardian’s accomplishments. Some of my favorite stories that are a part of this world building revolve around characters that sound interesting only to be delegated to a vendor role. Some of which are inactive vendors that are wasted like Ikora for example.
What if past events were compiled into a lore centric DLC where we could play as a rising star Ikora in a bot filled Crucible while simultaneously going through being Osiris’s understudy? What if we could play as the titular characters that fought in the battle of six fronts like Shaxx, Ana, Saint-14, etc. This would be a great opportunity to introduce older weapon and armor technology hinted at in the lore through weapons like Arbalest that was common before the city age.
Imagine defending your civilian followers as Shaxx during his time as a warlord or as the Iron Lords putting the nastier warlords in their place, or following Dredgen Yor’s fall from the light and as Shin Malphur seeking revenge.
This is a pipe dream at best, but I’m tired of reading about these accomplishments. I really do see this as a great opportunity to introduce large scale warfare in some of the instances where humanity was at the brink for example like the fore mentioned six fronts, great disaster, battle for siva in the cosmodrome, and with next gen on the way this could be a great stress test!

I was thinking that would be a cool concept for a movie Because they can’t make it in our present time cause there is too many variables with different player choices So make a prequel movie that leads to right before we were risen

Better idea Make a single player game that takes place in previous battles and focuses entirely on the fight and the characters

It’s actually quite interesting to me to see all these huge events chronicled in lore. Representing them in game would be huge let downs.
