iiuc - Destiny 2 and all expansions will eventually come to Xbox Game Pass for PC ~c. 2021. IMO the networking and cheating issues that are plaguing the game on PC were drastically increased with the move from Blizz to Steam, both before and after the steam anonymous ports change. I am wondering if the networking infra for the P2P stuff might change when another launcher is involved or 'IF' another launcher will be involved? Crucible used to be something to strive to improve at; at the moment it is not worth caring about buggy hit scan/report. And I don't mean connection problems like the farcical 'i have a full white bar' crap thats in the game. I mean like heavy snipe head shotting a guy (no if and or buts about it -- i'm talking square between the eyes) for no damage 1 moment, and then later in same match just flicking shots willy nilly and hitting 90% crits while side browsing /dtg and chugging a beer. I know this is hallmark of P2P and host swapping, etc... but doesn't it seem much,MUCH worse on Steam than it did on Blizz ? Crossing my fingers that MSFT and Bungo can come up with something better.
