With the next Gen consoles coming out with higher resolution and higher frame rates I can see that it might be practical to remove Crucible/Trials from PC if cheating continues unabated. Streamers would have to change their rigs to capture from consoles but that is the cost of doing business and they would run into far fewer players (not zero) using cheat mods as a benefit. I am not sure if the new consoles accept M&K but I do not see why not since the current one’s can (at least XBox). My thought on this is that this would be more of a Vaulting of Crucible for the PC until Bungie can get it’s in game anti-cheat working on the PC, then coming back later. As it is now, Destiny as a whole is getting massive bad publicity over Crucible cheating due to the ease of doing it on PC’s. I am not saying that there is zero cheating on consoles, but it is a lot less prevalent (at least of the type that happens on PC’s).

I run into a lot of people that appear to be using M&K on console. It's very frustrating. I accepted years ago however that Bungie doesn't care much at all about the PvP so I wouldn't hold out hope if I were you.

Honestly i think ive only been DDoS maybe once on console, been accused of cheating on console too. I feel like on console people are too easy to accuse someone who is just better then them. Idk who to believe about PC cheaters though, Seems like people say they are in every game or they are rare.

If the rumors are true, beyond lights anti cheat wont be much better. Them hack sites are pretty much the mob during prohibition, selling an illegal service to clients to gain monetary gain. As they gain more clients and funding, their organization becomes more organized, powerful, and harder to detect. Bungie can’t win here. Their YEARS behind the hacking websites and the websites themselves are boosting a high amount of dirty money. The website staff probably could hire someone to off someone else with how much their making. Bungie is fighting an unwinnable war against the mob. Bungie should be terrified of them, as they WILL eventually evolve to create a fragban software for REALLY unruly clients.

I consider my self an average player but I do ok and still have fun playing comp so to your idea maybe just don’t play crucible, trials and IB anymore! Now to your point on anti-cheat, I totally agree is a joke/trash on PC. Bungie rules with an iron fist for name shaming cheaters... wish they do that to the actual cheaters.

Destiny 2 PvP has become so lackluster, that I went back to Call of Duty. LOL. After being away from it for years, I have to report that their PvP is light years ahead of D2 and their outdated graphics/network.
