they both turn you into vegetables.
I like math it just doesn’t like me back

I have no problem with math. For me the problem lies in the school curriculum with the forced mandate of demanding algebra as one of the standard required classes to graduate. I realize that it has it's uses, but for the overwhelming majority of students, they will never use it in their daily life, let alone work ever. The class(es) do nothing more than frustrate students who don't and won't understand it, despite their being astute in all manner of other fields being taught. This leads to all kinds of self doubt and loathing for not being able to grasp something that they will never need in life, unless they are going into a vocation where algebra and higher forms of math are required and necessary. But normal math and geometry (figuring sizes, areas, volumes, none of that stupid 'proof tee' nonsense) are fine, and should be taught and understood.

I always enjoyed math and science in school. My best subjects in elementary school were math, science, and religion (I attended a private Catholic school, though raised protestant). In middle school (I transferred to public school), they were math and science. In high school, they were math, science, and history. In college, they were math, science (except organic chemistry), and philosophy.

True story - in senior year, after realizing how many math classes I had taken, I checked the course catalog to see how many credits it would take to minor in math. Lo and behold, I was already above the limit and needed only to “apply” for the minor.

It was one of my more enjoyed school lessons basically because I was just naturally good at it and found it easy 🤷♂️ The teacher got bored of asking me to show working out tho, there wasn’t any, I just knew the answer 😆

Sometimes, doing simple math for games can be fun. So is using it find out how many tons of tnt you would need to blow Phobos apart. The answer was around 12 kilotons. I wouldn't say I like math though.
-
I want to be a math teacher so... yeah 😆
-
I can appreciate it, but practicing is not really all that stimulating for me, for the most part.
-
Not very good at it, although I had to take it up through calculus. Trig and geometry are useful in real life. No one uses algebra and calculus is only good for other sciences like physics.
-
I'm majoring in mechanical engineering so I'm never going to get away from it, but it's gotten significantly easier over time compared to when I was first learning stuff.
-
I'm good at it but I don't like it
-
It was my second best subject behind history, so I never really had any problem with it. Wasn't very fun though, the boredom of it drove me to rather insane lengths just to keep entertained.

Those who suffer in the dark, They seek naught knowledge for they forsake such. They claim vileness in the knowledge they lack, Claiming magic, conspiracy and evil. But they see not the power it has, For they understand not.
I like math.
~The Bard, calculating enemy HP in less than a second based off call outs.

Excuse me?

Thing is, I like Math, I like how it all flows together and makes sense, and how you can solve problems in the real world that normally would be impossible through simple algebraic equations. However, actually DOING it is what I loathe
-
If you wanna get down, down on the ground Cocaine
-
-
It depends on what type of math it is.
-
I'm majoring in accounting so that says something.
-
-
I love math cuz no one in chemistry and physics is good at it so it makes me look good to my professors.
-
Right now it is bearable. And the future is unknown.
-
As of today I absolutely hate math
-
I play a lot of sudoku, so yeah.
