The Author describes a change in Armor System.
The change is that theres Ornaments for the new Armors.
Like the new armor sets, fans will be able to earn activity-specific and themed ornaments for the base model of the pursuit weapon. Zavala will offer the Vanguard ornament's quest, while Shaxx and Drifter will provide the Crucible and Gambit ornaments respectively.
Wow, this is totally nothing new as ther where allready Ornaments for those weapons specifically for the Vanguard and Shaxx Armors. Only Gambit was missing.
So what is new then, nothing really great. Its just new Set of Armor which specifically gets armor Ornaments for Activieties now. F.e. doing a Nightfall Strike might net another Ornament then doinn Strike playlist.
The point is.
Everyone was/is assuming that Transmog will come into the game and it would be either World of Warcraft or Diablo 3 like.
So if not and everything is like it ever was with ornaments then no change is coming and we cant look what we want to. Because we have to wear specific armor to get the look of specific ornament/design of it. Including the problem of wanting specific stats on them for PvP or PvE rolls.
That dear Bungie is not helping to reduce the allready cumbersome inventory space with all the clutter from items grinded for the best rolls.
Several Threads and answers to other threads from myself described an easy to way to get rid off too much armors and having the best usability for us gamers ready. without having to much extra armors filling up space in vault and inventory just because someone holds onto that Armor because the Design of it is so nice.
Bungie, when you want gamers look like they want and same time have the godrolls same time on therir gear, then give that to us.
You didnt change anything as it appears yet after reading that article.
we get angry about it and its another kick into our face like the stupid Sunsettting solution which isnt one. Every sunset legendary Weapon f.e. from Shaxx, Zavala, Drifter i got from past seasons came back and so all my previuosly found godrolls with past season slot had to be destryoed only to get the very same weapon back after alot of grinding with the same rolls on it. Why didnt you just let them live and not die like Exotics. Its just the same. I didnt won any space in my Vaul by sunsetting only a delayd roommaker which is instantly filled by newest GEar with hard grinded Godrolls found on armor or Weapons.
Im currently at +37 Powerlevel and over 101 Level in the Drifters Umbral Caster Machine.
So much grinding for nothing, we dont get more available space by your decisions. We do only have to play more and more. Its a shameload of work i do and some others likeminded as me. Who are min / maxers.
Im getting tired of Destiny 2 allready after haveing over 8000h put into Destiny 2.
I had fun the first year besides the everlasting problem in PvP matchmaking, which didnt really adressed the Networkmanipulators or massive Cheating problem yet.
(Last cheater i know of who got banned was reported 4 monthes ago from myself and i got Message from Bungie ingame two days ago that you took action and banned him)
The Question now is:
Will be a Transmog system coming in which will allow all and i mean EVERY Ornament be able to put on any Armor as i decribed in various Threads allready?
