Entry 1.3:
I woke up. I woke up in a crater. As I got to my feet, I looked around. I looked around to the melted land around me. The smell of burnt atoms filled the air. I'll tell you now, it's not a great smell. For a moment, I stood there. I stood there and did nothing. I thought nothing. Mere seconds passed and then I remembered how I got there, what had happened. Knowing what I could do in the moment I attempted to summon my Hammer of Sol. It came to me, it appeared, but it was cold. The flame within it was slow, weak. The energy from it's core was drained. Immediately I summoned my maul. Just like my eagle headed hammer, it was cold, weak. It's strength was depleted. However unlike my hammer, the maul was cracked. This crack came from the base of the handle and ran all the way throughout. It wasn't just the shell no, it was the entire weapon. I fell to my knees.
By now, the sun was going down. I had managed to reignite the flame in my Hammer. It was weak, but it was alive. However the story was a bit different for the other hammer, for my Burning Maul. I had tried to reignite it's flame as well but it didn't work. If anything I had made it worse. The crack's had grown and I was convinced that even the lightest touch would shatter it into 1000 pieces. In that exact moment, all I could feel was loss. It was almost like I had lost my light again but at the same time, it was different. It was so much worse. I had lost a part of myself, but I still had everything else. During the red war, when I had completely lost my light. It was exactly that, I had no light. There was no feeling of something being missing because it was all gone. Yeah, I felt weak but, I got through it. This however, The void and ark inside me, it was reaching out to what should've been solar. It was reaching out to a hand that couldn't reach back. The knowledge of that, that feeling within destroyed me. I would loose my light entirely 100 times over before feeling how I did then if I had the choice. To think what was once my normal had now become my personal hell. It was then I felt a hand on my shoulder.
Moments turned to minutes and minutes into hours. It felt like time had stopped. Throughout all of this I had never looked away from my shattered maul, not even for a second. As the frozen seconds passed, I began to feel something within me. Something warm but not like the warmth from a flame. This wasn't solar energy, this was something different. This was something new. This whole time that hand stayed on my shoulder. At first I hadn't noticed but when I did look over, I saw a warlock standing there. Their helmet was on so I had no idea who it was. She nodded to me and I stared blankly back. To be fair I was still consumed with grief. But then they did something that honestly, it scared me. They released a controlled flow of light from their hand and into my body. This wasn't any old light though. It was the same kind of light that made me loose control when I was with Astra in my ship, and that scared me. Looking away I glanced at the frail maul in front of me. To my surprise the Light the warlock was sharing with me, it was passing through me and going straight into the weapon. As it reached out, everything went dark.

Hey. If you read through this all then Thank you so much. I have the personal goal of one day, hopefully being able to write the perfect story. This is one part of getting there. If you want to, feel free to comment and leave some thoughts, it'd be appreciated but you don't have to, obviously.
