Refurbished Black Armory Shader Is In The Same Situation As Sleeper Nodes, And We Need To Let Bungie Know Sleeper Nodes were in the position where if they were farmed 24/7, there was a large chance you would not get the last few you needed to get the emblem. Refurbished Black Armory (a blue rarity shader only revived from a chance drop form Prototype weapons from the Forges) is in the same situation, but is in more dire need of acknowledgement or a fix. Refurbished Black Armory is required for the badge in the Blacksmith seal. Everything else in the seal can be earned. But the RNG behind this shader, same with the Sleeper Nodes, is troublesome and needs to be looked at like everything else that is being vaulted come Beyond Light. Personally, the Refurbished Black Armory shader is one of two things keeping me from Blacksmith, and I’ve been doing forges constantly. The low drop rate of prototypes and the even lower chance of getting this shader is detrimental to anyone’s chances of getting the seal before November 10th. Some solutions that I’ve seen for other activity’s rewards are tying the shader to a bounty or triumph, or simply taking it out of the badge required for Blacksmith. Would just like to see some acknowledgement of this issue before it is too late. The Sleeper Node situation gives me hope, but this issue needs visibility for anything to happen.
