I'm not wanting to be overly abrasive or negative, but I'm burned out on Crucible.
I wanted Carminica enough to play in the beginning of the season. I've worked on Redrix's Broadsword because it's something I haven't experienced and would like to use. I grinded out Crucible bounties for tokens and XP for the season pass.
So. Many. Painful. Games.
I'm not good at Destiny PvP. When we had SBMM I personally had more consistently good-feeling games, where I was challenged, but not stomped on. Every tenth game I would get stomped. Now it's every two games. Constant. Pain.
I'm certain I'm not alone. I'm certain there are those who disagree or who have had different experiences. I hope my feedback helps, anyway.
P.S.
I like the idea of skill brackets put forth by one of the PvP YouTubers (that I sadly can't recall OR find). At least have a protected bracket for new players, players new to FPS games, etc. That would be a start.

It was never about having fun. It's about taking turns being miserable.

I've never had a less satisfying experience in the Crucible ever, even going back to D2 vanilla. Beyond Light PvE better be incredible for me to come back.

I actually don't notice much of a difference from cbmm to sbmm. Feels about the same. Do you want PvP tips? If you start learning new techniques and gain skills might invigorate you.
