Little Donnie wanted to nuke a hurricane but hurricanes are so powerful you would need to detonate several hundred nuclear warheads in order to successfully destroy one or push away it's trajectory.
So that got me thinking, what if we detonate a B83 inside of a volcano? For reference the B83 is currently the most powerful nuke in the US arsenal.
Would the nuke create enough force to cause a volcanic eruption? Would the mountain crumble beneath all of the force? Would the lava and flowing gases be irradiated and permanently destroy all life near the volcano?

Do not do this as it may cause a time quake to propagate backwards in time and alter the past so that the glorious Italian Empire loses WW2
-
You would destroy the vault where the Skittles Juicedratic Equation is kept. You monster!

Edited by Fate: 8/25/2020 9:25:36 PMIt would become a nuclear volcano and would likely end all life on earth since volcano ash travels extremely far distances in the atmosphere and would be contaminated with nuclear radiation It would also likely trigger earthquakes and tsunamis It would be Chernobyl reactors exploding but a million times worse Since it’s a volcano and as I said the ash would travel across the globe spreading deadly radiation The ash would kill everything it touches basically since it would be soaked with nuclear radiation It would be Armageddon to sum it up The explosion would definitely cause the volcano to erupt by force alone

You awaken the volcano gods.

To quote a book called “What If.”
”WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!”
dew it

What’s wrong with wanting to become type 1 civilization?
-
Dunno... lets try it! *presses button that totally didn’t launch a nuke*
-
someone should tell him that blowing a nuke inside a volcano will make it safer. it would be like telling someone that alt+f4 is the grenade button.

Bro let a full yield Tsar Bomba off in Yellowstone’s magma chamber and watch all hell break loose
-
Lets do it and see what happens!
-
Probably something like this...
-
Depends on whether it's in the lava chamber or not. On the top? You'd make a lava filled crater. In the magma chamber? You would fling ash, gigantic boulders, molten rock, bad gases, and who knows what else into the atmosphere at the most.

I don’t know but now I really want to now
