Major latency, 60fps cap, PC has in past exceeded 60 no problem
Hi all,
A few weeks ago, i started noticing this weird occurrence where my frame rate would suddenly cap to 60fps in the middle of a match, for a time i thought it may have been due to shadowplay and saving a clip, but then it started happening just at random, and a game restart would be required to solve it.
recently it has elevated to be locked like this on game start up and nothing i do in the settings changes this behavior [of being at 60fps, with what feels like a really bad vsync turned on, with a large lag on mouse movement, as you vsync does], to try and troubleshoot this issue i went through and first checked all the setting again, turned them off-on, etc to see if any changes happened, even turned vsync on down to 30fps, and it did go down but then when i went back to turning vsync off and reset the frame rate cap back to 200 it only went to 60fps.
i then restarted the game a few times, and verified the game files on steam, played some MCC whilst i waited, started D2 up again and the problem still persists,
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, or let me know if you have or are experiencing the same issue and maybe it's a more wide spread thing.
Thanks
P.S
let me know if you want my PC specs, happy to include them.
