I have an idea Bungie, I'd like you to take it seriously.
Also I believe it's what a lot of players want or even think about, and most likely someone already have mentioned it before, somewhere, however it is...here goes something.
So basically we keep farming armors and weapons with random perks endlessly and some people never get what they want, so why not have customizable weapons and armor, or just armor, here is how.
1- Have a customizable armor piece drop from a certain activity, pinnacle or master NF
2- Have this armor piece has a stat cap, let's say a random number from 60 to 75
3- Now we need to customize the stats of this armor with the numbers right? right. how do we do that?
Well here is how...
You see all of the useless blues that we continuously dismantle mindlessly and routinely every time they drop? well make a use for them.
1- highlight a stat number that you want to acquire.
2- let's say strength 22, highlight it, dismantle, the armor is gone, and 22 strength is in the inventory
3- we can use the 22 strength in the customizable armor piece that we have.
I know, I know, inventory issues, database will be mounted with a huge amount of data like a *****, but, but...just...make a cap of inventory size, also I don't really believe that it will be an issue if you use the Modifications tab, it's already very limited.
Besides, most people will be careful as what to choose in their stats, AND...the 22 strength that we mentioned can be acquired from any piece of armor and be placed on any customizable piece of armor.
that's it, I hope people like it, and bungie, and they make it. gg.
