Cold truth: Its absolutely not a problem.
The only ones struggling are complaining more then trying to do it, 7 wins across an infinite number of cards isn't asking too much, the entitlement and participation trophy mindset are the real problem here.

I think that people are mostly upset due to the fact that its an enormous waste of time for the reward it is. A casual or even average pvp player has little to no chance of getting wins on Trials, so it's gonna take ages and for what? A glow? While I can give or take on the armor, I DO understand why people are upset.

An average or even below average player can absolutely manage 7 wins across an infinite number of games, especially at the initial games on the card where tryhards are the least common. On top of the influx of other players like them who are also going tmfor the armor and it's not even hard. Solstice and moments are about doing all parts of the game - that includes trials

As I stated, I think the issue is not the fact that it can't be done, its the amount of time that it requires someone to complete it. A Master NF or a Pit of Heresy, you can complete in half an hour or less with clan mates, and have a hell of a great time doing it. Trials, on the other hand, not only can take a huge time to accomplish a single win, but also it is not enjoyable at all (I did it for the weekend when we had Summoner for the 3 wins reward, and oh boy...), and it is time that I think a lot of people would rather spend doing something else. Perhaps if the state of Trials on PC wasn't as it currently is, it would be fine. But has it stands... I can understand the backlash Bungie is getting.
