Idk why you thought Bungie would reward you for playing their game, they don’t reward you for anything else.

The reason people are asking is because a few days before the event started a few YouTubers datamined destinytracker they found out that there was a classified item for completing all three classes when you acquire magnificent. Now all of a sudden people completed all three classes like myself got a few glows and nothing.

How else would Bungie reward me for playing their game? You do the thing, you get rewarded. Simple.
