Background:
Last Solstice of Heroes, I spent an inordinate number of hours grinding for my Majestic set (just like everyone else).
Next, I spent over $20 of real money from a real job in the real world for some bad___ looking aesthetics to layer over the Majestic set.
Next thing I know (perhaps the following season), we are introduced to armor 2.0 and we all know what happened after that.
Nobody wants to grind to get the same set again. Nobody wants to pay for the exact same aesthetics again.
Proposed Solution:
I respectfully ask for a credit or refund (if possible, for certain platform players) at the Eververse store in order to purchase new items (which we all know are primarily aesthetics, but oh well). Perhaps if Bungie took this action for myself and all affected players, I would be driven to play SoH this time around. Otherwise, you'll "catch me on the flipside"..
Why It Works:
If credits for the previous glow sets were issued, it wouldn't even hurt Bungie's bottom line, because digital goods cost next to nothing to sell for any company. Lastly, since it's a credit, Bungie is not giving out any real money at all. It is all digital, in their own store.
