I'm having strange occurrences when switching weapons mainly in PvP where it counts the most. I'm finding myself trying to switch from my energy weapon to my primary for a quick cleanup but I've stumbled into going from my energy weapon to empty heavy weapon. Now I thought that was the end of it but I stumbled into another situation where I was using my heavy weapon and when for the quick switch with my kinetic weapon then found my looking down at my energy weapon. With the hold time for heavy I think has been changed from it's original setting to something quicker causing this effect. ...................... With further testing it seems to be the case that the hold time has been sped up which messes up my timing that was already established. I have no idea if the recent changes made with the double-tap system for controller remapping had any effects on the button holding retiming. I still don’t know what caused the single press to turn into a double press but for right I’ll chalk it up a human error but this is still up for debate. If there is a way to change my settings for how long I can hold my button to change to my heavy I would highly appreciate it.
