It's a little daunting to have a delay to this redemption dlc to then receive little if any communication on the forums.
If there's nothing to report in bugs, that's fine. Why not shed light on what you are actively developing? Believe it or not, you can do that without spoiling anything!. Ie: "We're working on polishing the first campaign mission.", "We're bug testing later seasonal content."
I don't blame the community managers for this. I think the head of studio just needs to be less strict about the vague info that they're allowed to report.
But If you are looking at max'ing profit and nothing else, let me explain it with that mindset.
When there's little communication, fake leaks are believed.
These leaks commonly reflect what players want and can set an unattainable standard/expectation.
If you fall short of that expectation, that would create negative brand perception.
You can fill in the rest.

I highly doubt this has to do with maxing profit. November has new consoles releasing, Cyberpunk, and AC Valhalla all in like 3 weeks. This is going to hurt sales more than anything. I'm definitely betting it actually has to do with either working out bugs or getting the next gen versions up and ready to roll.
