With the upcoming season having the Exo Strangler all D1 vets who chose to play D2 on PC that have their D1 accounts linked should have Veteran status given to them, the changes in dialogue throughout the game up to this point have made me consider cross-saving my old xbox characters, but then I would lose 3 years of gear and Eververse items since I played it exclusively on PC when PC launched, on Xbox the veteran status is stated as being under the "Account" tab, so if the accounts are linked, PC players should have veteran status.
The tipping for me on this issue was during the Saint-14 final quest where he calls your character by all the names they've been given over the years, PC players only got 2 titles while veteran console players received many more, also at the start of Shadowkeep the veteran line is "Crota? be we killed him!" for vets and "Crota? But he's dead!" for new players, when I know d*** well I killed him on xbox, it's how I got my flawless raider achievement by solo'ing him, I shouldn't be penalized for choosing to play the game on PC when it launched, if cross save had been out back when D2 launched this wouldn't be an issue, it's a QoL change that imo needs to be implemented and can't be that hard, it would literally be a script that if the accounts are linked, the same check boxes for D1 content should be checked.
