Give the fallen a proper reskin in beyond light and not the same house of dusk color
When I watched the beyond light trailer and figured out that there would be fallen and us guardians wielding the darkness, I was hyped but when I also saw there was the same old house of dusk in the trailer that don’t use darkness WTF come on bungie you gave every enemy faction a reskin but where’s the proper reskin that the fallen should have, and beyond light should be big enough to even give the fallen a proper reskin basically darkness fallen similar to Siva fallen but the scorn do not count because they are a different enemy faction. It would be cool to see darkness fallen but seeing the same look for fallen is annoying. And in black armory the fallen didn’t get a nice reskin to them. But Bungie don’t be lazy with designs and reskin for specific enemies because you gave the hive a reskin back in Shadowkeep. Now where’s the fallen s reskin huh!?

Tbf they should have done what they did in D1 and have visibly different sub-groups of the enemy races. Sure the Fallen and Cabal would've been harder to do until recently but the Vex and Hive could easily have had different looks based on location, leader etc. The different Cabal legions, Fallen houses, Vex collectives and Hive groups in D1 made everything that bit more immersive and intriguing. There's no way the Vex are all of a sudden divided into the Sol Divisive in the Black Garden and one other collective outside. Also, the fact the House of Rain had exactly the same look as House of Dusk in that Saint-14 mission back in Season of Dawn was so immersion breaking (there may be lore on that but even so it didn't feel like these Fallen were from the Dark Age)

13 RepliesHonestly, I really believe Bungie needs to retire the Fallen. The game has been saying "they're on the verge of extinction" since D1 Y3. The Drifter even jokes about it and says to "give them a push." After the events of Forsaken and Black Armory, the Fallen should have all joined House of Light and have been retired off as an enemy faction. Same with the Cabal. The Cabal Psions abusing Time and then thowing Almighty at us were really weak points in the story. The Darkness or the Pyramids should have become a common enemy for the non-fourth dimensional manipulation beings (aka Hive, Vex and Taken) and forced an Alignment between the stragglers from the Cabal's Red Legion (and the other factions from D1) and the Fallen. This would be a new opportunity to remove the space of the two Factions from the game, and introduce a newer threat.

I expect to see the other 3 Factions, yes with other Colors, but Dusk is the Majority Ruling House. Seems like the high priority targets will be the ones that will stand out. Yet the shanks appear red in the sneak peak. So 🤷

Here's what Bungie should've done for the past two years now Kells scourge: black Zero hours fallen: red (then re-use them in the saving saint 14 mission and call them devil's instead of house rain) Tangled shore fallen: grey/or remove the symbol on their clothing Etc.

1 ReplyWe've only seen 1 trailer that shows the fallen so far and it wasn't the final version,they could be the fallen we face in the first mission before we fight the reskinned ones like in the Rise of iron dlc it wasn't until about the second or third mission where we fought the new splicers.We'll just have to wait and see.

The only fallen we should see are house of dusk, maybe a few devils as Erasmis was until now a house of devils, but apparently Erasmis has now formed the house of darkness. And given Mithrax formed house of light a while ago maybe we’ll finally see them again
