I've already completed the reckoning and gambit prime challenges on a hunter character, gaining the powerful synthesizer. I grew tired of the looks of my character, deleted my character and made a new hunter due to the fact that no character customization has been implemented in the game beyond character creation. The Drifter is offering me the weak synthesizer now, even though I'm in the possession of the powerful synthesizer already. Haven't taken him up on his offer due to the fear of having to do the questline again to regain access to the powerful synthesizer. Is there any way I can just abandon the quest somehow? Or a bungie employee deleting the questline from my hunter character manually?
