The Bad Guys (cont.)
Aeon and Venus
Two of the three goddesses that compose the Divine Trinity. Their physical forms were destroyed long ago, but they can still act upon our world through the will of the Skull Heart, and their devout worshiper, Double.
Venus is impulsive, and emotional, getting swept up in her mother's vision of revenge against the world for their deaths. Aeon is calm, and sees the mortal world as a game to be played, and greatly enjoys simply watching how everything plays out.
Current Status (both): "Deceased", watching our world from their own dimension
Powers/Artifacts (Aeon): Time manipulation
Powers/Artifacts (Venus): Space manipulation
Lamia
The mother of Aeon and Venus, and the third member of the Divine Trinity. Unlike her children, she was never killed, and can freely visit our world as various aspects of herself. While these aspects can take many forms, there are three key ones she usually takes;
-Sister Agatha, also known as Double. A seemingly humble nun, with the ability to shapeshift.
-Gehenna, a living, horrid plane of existence, and the afterlife of the followers of the Trinity.
-The Skull Heart, a magical artifact that can supposedly grant any wish.. At a cost.
All three forms can exist simultaneously, but destroying the Skull Heart destroys the other two along with it. However, they will never stay absent for long; a mere seven years after it is destroyed, and it will come back.
She is obsessed with avenging her children, and will stop at nothing to destroy our world. Luckily, she's yet to be successful.
Current Status: "Deceased", "killed" by Blaze, regenerating (4 years to go!)
Powers/Artifacts: Varies by form.
The Puppeteer

Places/Organizations
Flip Flap
Seeking to uncover the secrets of Pure Illusion, this small organization has worked tirelessly to find worthy candidates. They eventually found their luck with Cocona and Papika; two girls who could enter the otherworldly dimension at will! With Aifos' help, they began channeling some of its power into our world, but unfortunately, efforts on that front somewhat stalled when Skullheart was killed, and the Amulet of Avalor lost.
Though they mostly stay in hiding, they will occasionally send out Cocona, Papika, and/or Yayaka to fight against various threats.
Members: Salt (boss), Hidaka, Sayuri, Cocona, Papika (Dream Rod)
Former Members: Aifos (deceased*), Yayaka (deceased)
Pure Illusion
An alternate plane of existence, closely linked to ours. Normally, portals leading to it open spontaneously, and only under certain conditions. Flip Flap, and Asclepius found ways to open portals manually, but even so they could still only get certain people to enter; most of them die upon trying. After Asclepius was destroyed, Flip Flap became the only reliable entrance.
Rules in Pure Illusion aren't the same as the world here.. And they aren't even the same on subsequent visits. Trips to Pure Illusion can vary wildly, from winding up in a creepy nightmare school, to a bright and colorful world that looks like it's drawn in crayon, and or an empty vast desert. No matter where you end up, though, the world can always tap into your brain, and change based upon it.
99% of Pure Illusion worlds you wind up in are probably dangerous, if you even survive the trip to begin with..
Kokonoe's Lab
A high tech weapons laboratory owned by Kokonoe. It's located in the mountain range near the capital, though its specific location is a mystery... Don't approach without an invitation. You'll probably be shot.
Most, if not all, of the weapons made her are built with Seithr, a sort of amorphous magic substance, that can take the form of any regular material.
Members: Kokonoe (boss), Iron Tager, Lambda-11, Xi-14
The Iron Kingdom
A large empire ruled by Queen Mary. They don't have any territories near Offtopic.
Their capital is a sprawling industrial coastal city, ruled by Queen Mary. The upper districts look very clean, and fancy, but most of the city is left in a disgusting, ruined state. The nearby waters are very polluted. While there are, of course, many factories, the most notable one also serves as Mary's castle, and is absolutely massive!
Notable inhabitants: Queen Mary, Kampan
The Jambandara Base
A space station resting at the edge of the galaxy, owned by Lord Hyness. It utilizes both Jamban magic, and Halcandran technology to operate. From its remote emptiness, Hyness can use a magical reflective pool to spy at wherever he wishes, and when something captures his eye, he can use one of his powerful Jambastion spaceships to send his Generals of Magic quickly across the cosmos!
Accessing the Base requires a key from all three Generals, but otherwise it doesn't really have any noteworthy defenses.. Of course, while making it inside is easy enough, its ever shifting halls, and magical constructs haunting your every step make getting lost within very easy!
Members: Lord Hyness, Fransisca, Flamberge, Zan Partizanne
The Church of the Trinity
A church run by Sister Agatha, dedicated to the Divine Trinity; Aeon, Venus, and Lamia. While on the surface many of its actions may seem noble, and just, under the surface Double is secretly plotting her revenge against the world..
As long as the Skull Heart exists, this church acts as a direct gateway to Gehenna; the vile plane writhing just beneath the catacombs underneath, and indeed more often than not these catacombs serve as a hiding place for the Skull Heart's host..
Notable members: Sister Agatha/Double, The Skull Heart
Gehenna
A vile, living realm, and aspect of Lamia. By pledging your faith in the Trinity, you are unknowingly binding your soul to this place. It exists in our world only as long as the Skull Heart does. If the Skull Heart is not yet claimed (and occasionally if she becomes dissatisfied with the current owner), she gathers up potential candidates in this place.
A world of flesh, blood, and bone, it is surprisingly empty for the supposed after life of the Trinity's followers.. Just what happens, exactly, to those poor souls when they die...?
The Boundary
Another afterlife, this one belonging to a goddess of death named Izanami, who is in turn, a projection of the Master Unit Amaterasu. Under normal circumstances, anything that enters will be destroyed instantly, even divine beings. Despite this, there are several entrances scattered across the land known as "Cauldrons", that can often be used for powerful energy sources.
That's not to say there aren't exceptions. Some of the things that can enter the Boundary are;
The Master Unit Amaterasu, and the Sub Units Tsukuyomi, and Susano'o.
Boundary Interface Prime Field Devices, like Lambda and Xi.
The Nox Nyctores.
Relius Clover.
Calling it an "afterlife" is a bit misleading, as souls that pass through are actually cleansed and reborn.
Inhabitants: Master Unit Amaterasu, The Origin
Former inhabitants: The Sub Units Tsukuyomi, and Susano'o
Notable Artifacts The Amulet of Avalor
A magical necklace of potentially infinite power. However, that infinite power is limited by the strength of the user's heart, and thus practically it's not actually that powerful on its own. Though it possesses a wide array of magical abilities, its most prominent one is the manipulation of people's hearts/souls. Aifos' primary use for this is drawing out the powers of the Direct Drive in Papika and Cocona even in our world, though it's not quite as strong as in Pure Illusion. It can also act as a soul-vessel, able to steal and imprison souls inside of it. Relius made two copies; one that was nearly flawless, and one that's a bit unstable. Aifos lost the original when he was killed as Skullheart. Status (original): Unknown Status (prototype replica): With Sophie/Unknown Status (successful replica): Destroyed by Papika
The Soul Manipulation Device (SMD)
A shapeshifting laser blade that usually takes the form of a scythe, created by Lamia when Aifos wished upon the Skull Heart. As its name implies, it can manipulate souls to a much greater degree than the Amulet can. A few examples of what it can do; Trap souls in small crystal hearts. Utilize souls as power sources for technology or spells. Revive the dead (zombie state). Move souls from one place to another. All uses of the weapon require direct contact. i.e. You gotta get stabbed by it for it to do anything. Current owner: Six. Former owners: Skullheart Aifos
Boundary Interface Prime Field Devices (PFDs)
Androids created for the specific purpose of entering the Boundary, and communing with the Master Unit. Combat units are called "Murakumo Units", which includes all modern PFDs. The original line was completely eradicated in a war, save for a singular survivor, now called The Origin, who dwells permanently within the Boundary. The new line, which consists of a mix of repaired original units, and completely new ones, are all denoted with a Greek letter, and coinciding number. Of this new line, only four units are currently in operation. While all four are technically considered "Murakumo Units" the actual Murakumo is in possession of Nu, while Lambda and Xi possess much weaker replicas. Mu's version is known as the Kusanagi, and is waaaaay too complicated to get into here! Remaining units: Lambda-11, Mu-12, Nu-13, Xi-14
The Dream Rods
These magical wands can create near perfect replicas of people from memory! Only one person at a time, though! There are four in total. One is currently creating the version of Papika still working at Flip Flap, the other three haven't been found yet.
The Jamba Hearts
The fragments of a heart of a dead god. These little crystalline hearts hold a lot of latent magical energies within them. This makes them very useful for magical rituals and such! Before it was shattered, it was used in the Jamban/Halcandran war, to the devastation of both sides. This extraordinary death count attracted Vor's power, and so it became one of the Wicked Nine. Current status: In lots of tiny pieces
The Skull Heart
An aspect of Lamia, and her primary method of trying to exact revenge on the world for the death of her daughters. Supposedly, you can make any wish upon it, and while Lamia will almost always twist that wish into a wicked version of itself, the user will also always be transformed into a powerful lich; the tool of her destruction! The more selfless your wish is, the slower your transformation will be, but to date, no user has eluded Lamia's grasp for long.. Its various users have caused much death and destruction over the years, and as such it was formerly one of the Wicked Nine. Current status: Regenerating Former owners: Papika, Aifos
The Nox Nyctores
There are 10 of these things, but only a couple of them actually matter to Aifos' story. I'll do a quick list of the other ones, and go into a little more depth for the ones that matter. Mucro Algesco: Yukianesa Arcus Diabolus: Bolverk Deus Machina: Nirvana Mucro Somnio: Musashi Interfectum Malus: Okami Phoenix: Rettenjo Gigant: Takemikazuchi--A giant space laser owned by Kokonoe, and formerly by Relius. It's not on planetary destroying levels, but could destroy a city. Thus far, it's solely been used on two separate occasions, both of which to combat the Skull Heart. With the exception of the Murakumo, all other Nox Nyctores were created using a piece of Takemikazuchi's core. Arma Reboare: Muchorin--This magical staff can create matter. While it is limited to a relatively small amount, it's still nothing to scoff at when you have a missile out of nowhere suddenly flying into your face! It currently belongs to Platinum (who will be introduced.. Eventually.) Geminus Anguium: Ouroborous--A chain tipped with a snake head. It could weave in and out of portals, and seemingly had no end. It was used by Hazama, and hasn't been seen since his death. Divine Radiance: Murakumo--A large sword, that takes the shape of eight levitating blades, and a suit of light armor once activated. It can also summon small holographic swords at a range that hurt just as much as the real thing. The real Murakumo belongs to Nu, but Lambda and Xi have weaker replicas.
The Wicked Nine, and the Amulet of Vor
The Wicked Nine aren't actually a set group of artifacts, but rather anything that's been infected by Vor's presence. Bringing all nine of them together, with the Amulet will resurrect her. The Amulet contains her soul, and allows the user a small portion of her magic. None of the Wicked Nine from before are the Wicked Nine anymore (and honestly I can't remember what they were), so I'm not going to bother listing most of them. The three most relevant ones are; The Azure Grimiore (i.e. Hazama himself) The Skull Heart The Jamba Heart. Current Status (the Nine): Not the Nine no more Current Status (the Amulet): Destroyed upon Vor's resurrection.
Very creative lore. How long did these take you?
