Been reading a lot of the feedback about CBMM v SBMM and while I’m firmly on the side of preferring CBMM, I can’t help but consider that for anyone who falls well below the average skill level or people who are brand new to Destiny multiplayer, It can be pretty daunting and pretty rough.
So, I thought, what if there was a proper casual mode for these players to practice developing their PvP skills in a less pressured environment? It should be a mode that only has real value to the target audience and lacks incentive for those who may want to farm newer players (I know they exist)
Here’s what I’ve come up with
1. It’s SBMM Clash
2. It’s solo queue
3. Stats are not tracked, you will only see your own individual performance at the end of a match and no-one else’s
4. You can do daily/repeatable bounties but not weekly
5. You do not gain Valor, but do earn XP for your season pass
6. You cannot get powerful/pinnacle rewards
7. You can get random drops from the world loot pool, but these are rarer than in regular modes
8. You can progress exotic quests/catalysts, but at a much slower rate.
Interested to know what people think, particularly casual/new players. Also, anyone have any suggestions to tweak or add to the above, let’s hear em.
