First time posting in years, but realized I was complaining to myself and actually had a way to voice it to see what others thought. Hope this is the right place.
Plain and simple, I'm just wondering if the shared Loot Pool for Vanguard, Crucible, etc. will only be for this season?
I can understand the reasoning behind it, giving players access to meta weapons (I didn't say Gnawing Hunger? Did you? Swore I heard it?) who don't wanna farm the respective events for those weapons. However, I feel like maybe thats unfair to the people were willing to put in the work to get those weapons or gear from those events?
I personally love the looks and feel of Crucible Weapons and Armor, and now not only is there only 2 or 3 Crucible weapons I can farm for, the odds of me getting the weapon I want are greatly diminished, and the chances of Crucible armor dropping feel even lower. I think when the decision was first put into place the only thing that kept me motivated was the fact that I happened to get my desired roll on the reprised "Nature of the Beast" Hand Cannon. I hate to think about others who didn't get so lucky and perhaps got stuck with their 200th Lonesome when all they wanted was a Toil and Trouble.
I came here hoping for a possible response from anyone at Bungie, as well as responses from my fellow Guardians and their thoughts on this?
