Hello, Bungie and other people of this forum.
I have enjoyed Destiny since I've played in the D1 Beta. I've made friends and memories on both games. Destiny 2 in my opinion is great, as I enjoy it better than Destiny 1. I understand your guys' reasons for doing what you are, and I respect that. However, out of everything getting "Sunset", there's one gun that I will miss using in the newer activities. That gun as the title states, is The "Trust" handcannon. People say that in life you make special connections, and with these connections you create an identity for yourself. In my personal life, Living with High Functioning Autism is weird. and I don't like change, Yet in Destiny 2 I enjoy the change. Bringing it back to the "Trust" handcannon now. Of all the guns in Destiny 1 & 2, The Trust is my favorite. It has been there for me since I first got it back in September 2018 when Forsaken Launched. I never dismantled my first Trust handcannon and it became a part of my character. Now, hearing about Sunsetting I've scoured the internet and forums to see if the Trust was going to be clear of it. Sadly, It's one that's been set to the chopping block, figuratively. It's crushed my spirit. That Trust that's sitting on my secondary slot on my warlock currently as I write this has seen everything with me. Most of the guns in the Destiny universe have stories, That Trust is the oldest gear I have on my Warlock. She (The Trust) has had my back in multiple situations, From fighting Riven, Siviks/Scourge of the Past, Garden of Salv's Harpy boss (As my clan hasn't finished GoS yet), Defeating the nightmares, going through the dungeons, and regoing through the main game with my friends who haven't played before. She's been good to me, and I've been good to her. She has a Calus Selected shader (Gold and White) and a Eververse skin I can't remember the name of, yet gives it a royal look to it.
To say, she's one of a million is an understatement. She's as unique and special as myself. She's not only a Trust, She's my Trust. I won't ever leave her behind. She's going to Europa in a few months, and She will be there with me as I re-enter the Vault of Glass and the other new Raid.
The saddest part of this, She won't ever be able to go above 1060 Light. I'm saddened by this thought every time I think of it. Thank you for creating a weapon I've enjoyed using these almost past 2 years.
Thank you for reading this,
