While selecting rewards as a focus to the grind is a great idea. . .the way the recaster's highest level reward tier is applied seems like some hot garbage flavored watered down garbage.
I've been playing for a while so I have a heuristic about armor that I keep. . .either two stats need to add to 40+, or three stats add 50+, or stat rolls of 67+ total points Aside from that, it isn't really worth while for me to keep a generalized set of armor.
When the recaster was marketed, it sounded like "MY GRIND". . .I was gonna get all the armor sets I wanted, I just needed to focus the right engrams and hope I hit my distribution goals. . .well that didn't happen.
I'm sitting here, just plugged 10 intellect focused armor engrams through the system. . .the highest stat total was 62, the highest intellect value was 18, with a mode of 14, and and average of 15.
What the holy waste of time is this? After all of that, what you are telling me is, the best thing I can get out of the recaster is the weapon grind, because armor 2.0 is getting crapped on this season. Thanks for nothing guys. . .I'm gonna go play the division where tuning top tier gear is intentional.

It's likely bugged, as people have reported having as little as 2 in the desired stat.
