As we all know, Destiny 2 has already announced plans to release DLCs/Expansions to the Destiny universe for the next 3 years, assuming each BIG DLC/Expansion comes out every fall. And with the concept of vaulting Destiny 2 Destinations and Sunsetting Gear leading to the result of Post Beyond Light players missing out on gear from pre-Shadowkeep. I would have to do everything to avoid penalties on my account, or I would have to give up Destiny if I ended up with a restriction.
Does anyone have any tips?
Also, in my modem/router's setting, I enabled Bandwith Controller or QoS, and had a noticeable effect on my online gaming experience, ( A.K.A. I now longer lag). But looking at Bungie's troubleshooting guide, manipulation of the Bandwith Controller or QoS settings is not in any of them. Do I run the risk of trouble (Suspension or Ban) for my account by playing with an enabled QoS, especially in the Crucible?
Will playing in the Crucible ( or just playing in Destiny 2 in general) while QoS is enabled trigger a red flag on my account?

QoS, unless done by your ISP, will not affect you. QoS will delegate bandwidth to your devices based on their priority. Here are some tips, make sure you have an open NAT, turn on UPnP, and don't open any ports. Contrary to what Bungie has put in their networking tips, only thing opening ports will do is open you up to DoS or DDoS attacks. As long as UPnP is enabled it will handle opening the ports for you. And if it is absolutely necessary to configure your ports use port triggering, and not forwarding. It's much more secure, and has the same effect.
