Graviton lance catalyst progression is just flat stupid
So I got the GL catalyst recently. I thought “cool, time to grind”. I did some of the whisper mission thrall farm and the cosmology kills went up by 6 percent. I looked it up and you need 1000 COSMOLOGY KILLS! For those who don’t know, cosmology is the explosion after you kill something with the GL. This is ridiculous for a tiny range buff

Took me about 30 minutes to get the second 500 kills done. Sorrows Harbor kill regular Thrall and don't get trigger happy. You can get a good chain reaction of 20-30 cosmology kills that happen inside the spawn bubble.

1 ReplyGo into the bad juju mission. In the dogs room do not kill and blights. Stand there and shoot the dogs. After about 2-3 runs you’ll have it. It takes prolly about 45 mins max. That is how I did it

Once it’s master worked it becomes on of the greatest ad clear guns in the game. Shoot the weak guy first and watch the fireworks Edit autocorrect wants me dead

2 RepliesDid they ever adjust it to where the explosion actually counts? When I had to do it only the seeker kills counted. That aside, at least it requires you to use the weapon's intrinsic perks rather than a boring "Kill X enemies." Masterworking exotics should actually require some kind of effort to obtain (and masterworked stats should reflect that as such).

2 RepliesIn addition to the range buff (which is not tiny), the catalyst also gives GL an increase in aim assist. +18 Range (73 to 91) + 15 Aim Assistance (60 to 75)
