After ban/restriction my account, I decided not to quit the game and bought the account of a player who decided to tie up with the game. Because in the Bungie politics, I did not see information that prohibits the sale/purchase of accounts, then I decided to do this through the FunPay service. After purchasing an account, I linked my account from PSN to play with friends
And after half a year I ran into this problem:
The seller stole the account he sold earlier and thereby decided to cash in twice: received money from the sale and retained an account.
Steam support could not do anything. According to their rules, the sale of accounts is prohibited. In the Bungie agreement, I did not find information that the sale is prohibited. In connection with the above facts, I ask you to make the PSN platform the main one for this account and transfer all the data there, unfastening the Steam account so that the fraudster does not receive anything for his crime.
I put the link screenshots from the FunPay service confirming the purchase and sale transaction and there are screenshots with the correspondence from Steam that I announced the theft of the account I bought
P.S. Unfortunately, because we are from Russia, all correspondence and clarifications of the reasons take place in Russian. You can connect one of your translators to this point. The screenshots clearly show how the previous account owner transfers the Login and Password to me to use the account. After which he receives money for this account. I think these arguments are enough to draw up a correct picture of the situation. Just as I wrote above, I did not find in your agreement information about the prohibition of selling accounts, which means the attached screenshots are proof of the sale of informational property and the change of ownership.
P.S. I attach screenshots of the transaction to the attachment.

Account selling/trading is not bungies jurisdiction and its widely known that selling/trading accounts is against steam/sony/microsoft terms of service so theres obviously NOTHING bungie can or will do.

Just buy a new game lmfao. Like...there isn’t shit to redo because they’re removing all the year 1 stuff and most of year 2...no need to worry about gear besides exotics because they’re all getting sunset. Tbh a fresh start is probably the best at this point. Why buy an account with all this soon-to-be useless gear

You were trading with personal information basically. And it isn't Bungies responsibility to take care of your business, nor are they going to deal with a transaction which isn't even legal in the gaming department on bigger sites (selling accounts) or out of their reach.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. You get what you deserve.

Edited by Illra: 6/17/2020 5:04:44 AMso you bought an account because you're too lazy to restart and then the original owner take it back? you kinda deserve it Edit: Bungie cant do nothing about it since its a steam profile

This is why you don't buy accounts. You could have created another account easily. Hell, you could have changed the email associated with the account you bought. How hard is it to create a new account?

I could have seen this coming. Dont buy accounts....
