Its unethical, lazy and pathetic.
I will personally dedicate 24 hours of going into each forge and reporting these clowns.

I’m doing the same thing because I’m actually trying to get a better Galiard to drop and I have to quit out of 5 games before I load into a game where players are actually doing the activity. I’m also reporting every single player that’s afk both to Bungie and Microsoft.

Now because players have found a way to get max power so they can enjoy the content.. Bungie devs Quickly let's patch it, And yet bungie takes a year nearly to get trials fixed and ships it in a broken mess Bungie have completely lost there way giving in to streamers and forgetting da community itself.. 70% of stramers, not the pepoles voice.

I forget farmed yesterday because it's a better alternative to me than playing ordeals or PvP over and over for the 'chance' at getting a whole 25 altered element. There's daily bounties on every character sure but then you're left with RNG on only a few activities and nothing to tell you which activities in the game can even give the material in the first place. I don't want to grind a crappy ordeal with crappy players, I don't want to play PvP when I have no reason to play beyond the milestone and even strikes, my usual go to are getting stale as hell cause there's so few modifiers and I've done god knows how many since Forsaken let alone just from Shadowkeep.

It's only 'unethical' if it actually affects other players, such as those people not dropping their Light level. But it is lazy and pathetic of Bungie to know about AFK Forge farming for this long... and still not fix it. ;P

Yeah I understand reporting the ones who don’t know how to afk farm who ruin it for everyone who needs to do the forges (the ones who don’t change their power level below 750) but ones who exploit it properly are always put with other afk people so I don’t see any issue there. Until bungie put a stop to auto match making after a forge match I don’t see a problem people can’t get on the game every day for hours on end to power up so need to do these thing to help in between
