As bungie has stated in a tweet to massive, the division 2 team, after massive banned their players for exploiting a glitch. we do not ban our players for our technical short comings, we bite the bullet and allow it to happen. I'm pretty sure it would be easy to patch, stop the forges from looping. Hello... I believe they are allowing it to happen so more players can get to a higher light so they can partake in the grand master nightfalls.
