It is by far the most efficient strategy to level your character. If the game had a more efficient leveling system built into it's more legitimate systems we would be utilizing that. Many other games have leveling systems that put you close to end game levels at the end of story content. So you don't have to work as hard. This game makes you play hours upon hours, days upon weeks even, to get to end game levels. And it makes you play content we've already been playing up to this point.
TLDR: If you Make a better leveling experience, you will get more players who want to engage with it And not *want* to find the exploits.

Weeks????? Hours I'll give you that. This was a season, not a dlc so of course you had to grind for the endgame. Seasonal content is supposed to add to the endgame grind, that's why they exist. If you play three characters and ran every milestone you could have been at 1050 legitimately with one character and the others would be on the upper 1040s. I heard the already patched the exploit. I actually tried it out earlier with my first character the play some armor catch up, think I tried 2 or 3 hours, maybe got 5 or 6 engrams and not enough mats to upgrade them all. It wasn't efficient, could have gotten more engrams add mats for upgrades playing that three hours.
