The lush forests of Venus offered a large bounty for a roaming hunter. Creatures, fallen, alot to take down, especially after facing the calamity that befell Luna. "Three dregs, one knife left? Kaize the odds are stacked, this isn't fair" Laurian scoffed with his guardian behind the boulder they staged an ether cache on top of. The scuttling started, they can climb on flat surfaces but forget anything slightly uneven. "They must have [i]fallen[/i] over each other like seven times, fine I'll end it, we need better bait." Kaize attached a remote detonator on his knife, rolling around the rock he planted the knife into the center dreg's chest, it stayed standing but let out a guttural squeal of agony. "Aw, we have ourselves a trooper." Then in an instant the three dregs are gone. "Shame, detonator was wonky, I didn't even hit the button." A charge of void energy whirred past Kaize, he turned around and saw nothing. "Laurian do a scan." Then a mass of cold calculating metal materialized in front of him, maybe 7'6" 7'7", it raised it's arm to strike kaize but he was already on the backstep. He drew his handcannon, one he modded from some shrapnel launchers he stole from some roided out Kell. Three shots bludgeoned the vex construct before it dematerialized. "AGH, Not again! We have to run, these things are here too, maybe the ishtar collective might be a good place to hide." Kaize yelled as he hopped into his sparrow [b][i]The Onyx Wave[/i][/b] and headed east. "Always on the move, are we ever gonna rest kaize?" His earpiece crackled slightly under the wind. He didn't care. Shots sped past him for a few miles, then it was him and the wind. His sparrow lightning and his light thunder. He needed to be faster.
