I was level 1050 by Wednesday and I haven’t ran a single forge. It’s not the most efficient way, it’s the laziest way.

Edited by Taejzon23: 6/14/2020 11:48:21 PMTranslation: "I'm salty that I didn't AFK farm before I no-lifed 2 straight days away..." You're already at 1061 power and at LEAST level 30 on season pass. Get a job and some responsibilities before you post. Oh..I'm sorry. Sounds like playing IS your job. My bad.
-
Lmaooo I literally just worked a 12 hour shift 2 days in a row. I got to beat the dungeon within the first 24 hours which is all I wanted. I really dont care what other people do, hell I’ll probably do it myself to catch up on materials. I’m just calling a spade, a spade.

Thanks to this i can actually play the dungeon i paid for.

The dungeon is F2P. I have a job and a family too. If afk works for you, do it. But don’t pretend like it isn’t the laziest way to level up.

A.) I’ve never been opposed to it. Read my other comments or the post I just made about it. I said it was a lazy leveling route. It’s factually the laziest way to level up, that is undeniable. B.) Not doing it to level up. Doing it to farm materials as I sleep to roll for god rolled swords tomorrow. That’s the other reason I think there’s nothing wrong with it. Basically the menagerie glitch in Y3.

Edited by Seth, Knower of Things: 6/15/2020 5:27:23 AMWell...yeah. Did you think I ever meant it wasn’t lazy? I feel like I’ve been pretty clear on that.

I know what you mean but afking is the most effective simply since players don’t have to play to get to max. I got to 1039 base I believe in about 7 hours on Tuesday night into Wednesday since I had work until 10ish. Then I found out forge farming existed Thursday night and I didn’t want players to poop on me in Trials so I was like well screw it. Technically speaking, Nightmare hunts are the most effective when you’re playing the game
-
As I said. It’s not the most effective way. It’s the laziest way. Or maybe “quickest” lazy way would be a better fit.
-
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. [Join the Pangram Pandemic].
-
It's definitely effective when I can come home from a 12 hour work shift and have a full inventory and postmaster full of Engrams and enough seasonal currency to focus them all.
-
Not saying it isn’t effective. I’m saying it’s not the most effective. Its the route that requires the least amount of effort to quickly level. Aka the laziest way. Or “quickest lazy way” if you want.

I would not call playong 23 hours a day for 3 or 4 days "efficient" lmfao
-
-
Honestly I’d say it took me about 16 hours to hit 1050 over the course of 2 days. According to Time Wasted I put 11 hours Tuesday and the other 5 on Wednesday morning. Might be a lot in 1 day for some but for those that enjoy the game 16 in a week is completely possible. That’s a little more than 2 hours a day.

Get to your room, you bad little boy! No games for you! Give me your phone! Wait until I tell your father!

Thanks mom.

One can argue the lazy way is the efficient way since you are getting the most progress with the least amount of effort. I’m not doing it since comp is the easiest way to get powerful gear in my opinion
-
i find your rebuttle weak when people do these fast levelling exploits are the ones that complains about there is nothing left to do and tap out for the remainder of the season and thoes who complained that the game was way too casual at launch of destiny 2 when they do these fast levelling exploits speaking about the kettle calling the teapot beige but sorry i preffer doing the grind normal .
-
I’m doing comp because I legitimately enjoy comp, I want to get better at the game when it comes to 1v1 engagements or 1v2. My reason for getting power level is, I want to try and solo the prophecy dungeon and make sure I’m not at a disadvantage when it comes to trials of iron banner.
-
Maybe in things that require physical labor in some way. Use a machine to pick up a piano instead of picking it up yourself for example. In a video game however, I’d consider the most efficient way to be the fastest way. Example in GoS the most efficient way to beat the boss isn’t the well spamming strat, though that way does require the least about of work. Also should mention I haven’t played comp this season either so this was purely by playing the powerful reward activities and token burning.
-
That’s true but it’s a video game, if people want to use the longer lazier way good for them. I’m a pvp player so comp is by far the easiest way to get powerful gear.

How did you do it?
