I wanted to bring to light the negligence of Bungie's moderators and/or supervisors. The link I provided is dated June 30 but google says it is from July 1, 2019. I dont know if a year ago the reporting for AFK was a thing but to this day it exist. Just 20 mins ago, I was trying to complete my Forge of Ignition to complete a Black Armory Bounty. Only to be group with 2 active players (Me and another player) and 1 AFK player. I of course did the thing that is recommended and reported the AFK player for being AFK. Sadly that Forge of Ignition wasnt completed because the other active player left realizing that there was no point in trying if one wasnt even present. The time ran out and I was taken to orbit only to get thrown into another Forge of Ignition with 2 active and 1 AFK. I again reported the AFK player, giving the player many opportunities to come alive. Everytime they needed to be revived I revived them. Only for them to die a minute later because they are AFK! That game of forge ended and I thought to myself that third time is the charm right? Wrong, this time I was the only active player and 2 AFK Players. One of the 2 AFK players I had played with in the last game and already reported which told me that my original report had been for nothing. Why have a report for AFK botton if it serves no purpose? Only to use it and have it be shoved back in your face like Bungie is laughing at you for actually playing the game. I purpose that a temp ban or better yet, a restriction on activities be in placed for going AFK frequently/continuously. It is outragous that Bungies only cares about the cheaters and not the griefers. Yes, going AFK is Griefing in my book because it takes away enjoying the game when I have to be the only one actually working towards finishing the mission or quest.
