Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to click on this post and read.
I have created this post due to receiving a ban quite a while ago now (Around April 19)
I have read numerous forum posts and information directly from the website about bans and reasons for them. I understand that bans can be placed for anything against ToS in the last few weeks of playing.
For some backstory, I was playing on pc. The day I received the ban, I had done a few strikes and then continued to play Tier 2 reckoning as it was dropping spare rations that week.
I had then logged off after the session of Tier 2 reckoning with some LFG people to take a break, go outside etc. Once I was done and wanted to play again I decided to play on console (specifically Xbox one) so that I could play with a few friends.
To my surprise, when I loaded the game up and pressed the appropriate button to login, I was quickly met with a message that notified me about being banned and to read about it on the appropriate website.
To clarify a few things; I’m not claiming that I’m 100% innocent, however I didn’t intentionally/purposely do anything to break ToS and receive a ban.
Although this doesn’t fully reinforce it, prior to my ban, quite recent as well, I had purchased Shadowkeep and enough silver to buy the Season Pass.
In my option I don’t believe that anyone would spend £38 (In the UK) on the content and then intentionally land myself a ban. I never cheated in Destiny 1 and don’t ever want to in Destiny 2 either.
Also prior to my ban I had received a 2 week suspension for crucible and gambit due to playing with someone who was manipulating network and removing people from the game without mine and my friends knowledge. That suspension was up soon (3 days I believe) before I was permanently (I assume) banned.
I’m hoping that by explaining this in detail I can get some answers and maybe understand why I was banned and what for. That would be appreciated as right now I’m in the dark and sadly don’t have anything (good enough) to play.
Once again, thanks for reading. If you can help in anyway, please reply and let me know. It would be awesome.

Give it up man, it happened to me on January 9th and they don't even answer, total disregard. I never hacked anything my steam account is over 9 years old with no ban then destiny goes to steam and ready I got my first ban out of nowhere. Worse, I had just bought cash at the store and I didn't even use all the cash.
