New sprint is messing me up!!!!
So with the new custom controller layouts came a new problem for me. When I play the crucible and I need to sprint I sometimes pressed the sprint button twice but I would not affect me because It was just a sprint button. But now when I press two times it will cancel my sprint and then I can't slide. I got killed so many times in the crucible today because of it. How do I fix this? I hope I said that right?

2 RepliesSprint Toggling: Catastrophic Mistake! Cozmo said today they’ll be fixing it & said sorry for the mistake! Hope new patch coming on Monday solves it, we’ll see if that fixes it!

I was having the same issue. Under Custom control settings, go to "Toggle Sprint" and enter the button you want as your Sprint then to the right choose the "Press" option. That should bring it back to the normal way as it was. Hope this helps. It did for my setup!

5 RepliesI can understand “bugs” making it into new content on release day, stuff happens. But how was THIS not caught during testing? Literally the core controls of the game do not function the way they have for 5 years... how did no one notice?? You want to add customizable control setups to the game? Awesome, something many players have been asking for... but you had better test and make sure the default controls still work. How was this not noticed?

Unfortunately, controller layout is changeable on pc. I went through all the options. Nothing, this sprint toggle makes the game unplayable. Feels like I have lead in my Titans pants.

I thought this was just me! So much so that I ordered a new controller thinking the left stick on mine was toast. I play PC with a controller and the sprint lock thing is a real problem right now. When that movement is REALLY ESSENTIAL in comp, it's difficult to win!

Sprint was changed to toggle and has made the game completely unplayable for me now because of the issue you mentioned with being unable to slide. I haven't even tried crucible but even a gambit match was terrible. Hope they revert this change ASAP.
