So I've been meaning to ask this for a while now and never got to it but: Why does the season pass cost silver yet if you buy silver you can't switch the account connected by cross-play for 90 days? My reason for asking is, that is pretty much a full season you can't switch the account you want to cross play with but on top of that, after deactivating cross play, you get ANOTHER 90 day wait to link again so that's now basically 2 seasons of time you can't cross play. I want to know if there is any way around that wait because I want to link a different xbox account.

Bungie will not bypass or void the 90-day cooldown upon deactivation of Cross Save for security reasons. You can submit a request regarding Cross Save issues directly to Bungie using this form. If you don't hear anything back after a couple business days, it's safe to assume your request has been denied.

Cross Save is intended to be a one-and-done process. Bungie has given us ways to change its setup in the case that something goes wrong, but there are security features in place to prevent fraud and activities that could compromise the player's account(s).
• If players disable their Cross Save for any reason they will have to wait out the 90-day lockout before they can enable Cross Save again. There are no exceptions to this policy. • Players who purchase Silver cannot disable Cross Save until 90 days after the Silver was purchased.
https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48099 Season Passes are purchased through the Eververse store via Silver in order to allow them to move with the player to their other platforms. If they were purchased through the platform store directly as normal DLC, they wouldn't be able to transfer like this.
