To Bungie,
Hello, I am going to ask not if, but when you are planning on supporting Linux, or at the very least Proton built into Steam? To me and a lot of other Guardians not supporting Linux could end up being a bad idea. I feel like this could open up a new audience. Also on another note, DO NOT BAN PLAYERS WHO USE WINE TO PLAY YOUR GAME ON LINUX OR MACOS! Wine stands for "Wine is not a emulator", or at least according to the people who built the program. Thank you if you read my question/rant
Sincerely,
The Linux Community

Just dual-boot Windows if you wanna play that bad.

Vicarious Visions picked only to use the biggest OS for D2 not a second rate OS that needs emulators to play most games. So as of now there will be no version of Destiny 2 for any other PC OS as they can be used to bypass Bungie's anti cheat systems.
but when you are planning on supporting Linux
It is just not beneficial in the slightest for bungie to put money into porting this game onto the linux os. If you want to play Destiny, you have to get yourself a windows system. There will never ever be linux support.

I've had a petition for Bungie to do this for almost a year, since before they moved to steam. It has achieved nothing. Bungie don't care. https://www.change.org/p/bungie-inc-allow-linux-users-to-play-destiny-2 See also the official Proton bug for Destiny 2. Doesn't look like anyone is working on supporting it. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/3112
