6 RepliesSame reason you can kill Riven 500+ times. Same reason you can fight any strike boss infinitely. Same reason you can hunt down a wanted enemy over and over. Same reason you can kill Zulmak repeatedly. Same reason you can banish xol again and again. Same reason you can save the last city from the red legion multiple times. Etc.

2 RepliesThat's the evolving world Bungie try to sell us. A farce. They couldn't even be bothered to code a few different sentences to replace the old ones after the destruction of the Almighty. That's the immersion they always fail to deliver in this game. There's no coherence between what happens in the game and what NPC's do and say.

The entire point of the towers were to arm Rasputin. Now that he has shot his load so to speak I wonder how much he has left. My guess is he had us do 9,000,000 events as a ploy to overload his arsenal and have plenty left in reserve even after the almighty. If Rasputin was willing to trick the iron lords I wouldn’t put it past him to trick us
