Totally serious. No one likes it.
It only serves as a frustrating activity. You obviously cannot figure out how to matchmake teams. Lots of balancing problems.
Let's just get rid of it. This is the first time Ive suggested this. I feel that D2 pvp is in the perfect point in life to retire Shaxx, or give him some other duty station.
Think on it.
*Melkor Darkstar has suggested that Gambit be removed. Im fine with that as well. Maybe both?!
-
To clean up this game, remove you from it.
-
no just remove all weapons. go space magic only
-
smells like git gud in here
-
Destiny without PvP would only lessen the amount of activities and the playerbase by around 30-40% Hardly constructive is it? Destiny was built with both modes.. It would soon get boring without either being in the game.
-
Hunters will complain 😆 All they have is pvp. Warlocks would love this idea Titans would like it.

To Free Up Space, Consider Removing This Whole Franchise Off The Face Of The Earth Totally serious. None of these people can like it together. It only serves to bunch up all these different players from different genre demographics to claw at each other for control of the franchise's appeal. Bungo, you obviously cannot figure out how to target a single specific demographic. Otherwise, brings lots of foundational design problems. Just get of rid of it. This is not the first time it's been said that this is definitely not how a good video game is developed or how communities of good games function. Destiny as a franchise is in the perfect point in life to off itself, so do that and give it another go with a complete reboot. Think on it.

The Crucible is really an anchor around the neck of the franchise. 1. Its a third of the player base....a minority. 2. You can't monetize the content without fracturing the playerbase. 3. Trying to monetize cosmetics to make up the shortfall angers the PVE player base. 4. Balancing passes break the power-progression that fuels PVE, angers the PVE player base. 5. The loot problems that PVE is having are because this game's systems were designed for PVP balance. 6. So PVP---especially now that Trials is back and a lame horse----is a Money Pit that Bungie is committed to throwing money down....with no direct way of ever gettign back. That is doing nothing to grow the game. This game will never reach its potential on the PVE side of the game as long as Bungie is fixated on PVP being a "balanced" affair....and PVE and PVP share the same sandbox. But alienating a third of your customers? I can see why they dont' want to do it, even though the impact it has on the game (as a PVE main) is frustrating to watch.
-
Destiny isn't destiny without pvp.
-
I can't tell if you're serious, if you are not then bad joke it has been made before. If you're serious then still bad joke it has been made too many times already. Also who in the world is Melkor?

Remove Gambit

Edited by RPColten: 5/19/2020 5:43:37 PMTo Free Up Space, Consider Removing Raids. Totally serious. No one likes them. Edit: I forgot my /s. Apparently it's needed.
-
I dont mind it
-
Wrong... Crucible is keeping this game relevant for most.
-
How about have it as a mini game outside of the main game?? Has its own loot/quests/exotics/character/server. Seasonal/annual updates can be more loot/maps/game modes/quests. Cannot use other gear in this mode, and can't use this gear in other modes!! Truly separate and dedicated crucible arena! No power level, just xp level!
-
To free up space, consider deleting all seasonal activities because they're bullsh*t.
-
All they need to do is get rid of the cheaters nerf anteaus ward And revoker Make trial more rewarding And fix some connections echos Looks likes its to much for them to do
-
Throwing out the people that only play the game for pvp? That's what the game would permanently kill.
-
youdont like it
-
Crucible is the only reason so many people play because of how boring and pointless PvE has been...
-
If pvp goes I will definitely not be playing destiny anymore. Its the only sorta fun thing to do .
-
Speak for yourself. Literally haven't touched Pve for months in d2 !
-
Go ahead, and just take out Nightfall strikes too while you’re at it,. Y’know what, strikes in general! -blam!- em. You know what, no one’s ever doing public events anymore, go ahead and nix those. Oh adventures too, who even does those? Get rid of them. Actually, exploring planets is so passé, do we really need that? Gone! That basically just leaves the raids....
nah you know what, get rid of that shit too
-
No man. That's the only fun part of the game. Yeah, it's laggy from time to time, and on PC there are too many cheaters. But who cares about predictable aliens? "Let's walk around the corner and I bet my bottom dollar that there will be a Vandal and 2 Dregs." Walks around the corner..... "A Vandal and 2 Dregs!" Yeah, PvE is sometimes fun if you want to shut down your brain and farm soms materials, but once you get that God roll you're looking for, where do you want to test it out? Right, in the Crucible! Besides that, Crucible doesn't take up a lot of game space. All it is, is a few maps and a timer.
-
Things bungie could do to free up space: 1: make the next expansion a next-gen console exclusive, like rise of iron 2: get a better game engine. 3: get rid of old assets that just sit around in the game files 4: remove some shaders that no one likes 5: delete trials
-
Remove hunters and their cloaks too.
-
in actuality, they could get rid of a bunch of those playlists. nobody cares about labs. u got trials no need for comp. rumble, control clash all they need
