(RIP Gaming Forum) Well, I [i]think[/i] I’m finally back. I can see not a ton has changed besides the surge of fanfics, but that’s no problem. I guess you can’t really leave this place, after all... Anyways, those games in the title? Amazing games. Blind Forest was my favorite game of 2015, and Will of the Wisps, so far, is easily my favorite of 2020. I don’t think I’ll ever stop talking about WotW, at least this year. I consider it to be the closest to a perfect game that I think I’ve seen. Graphics are beautiful, movement is smooth and feels so -blam!-ing [b]good[/b], the soundtrack literally makes the game, and the story is bittersweet and emotional (complemented so well by the soundtrack). Area design is super clever, bosses are all unique and innovative, building off of new ideas, and there’s so much more. And, oh boy, the sequences. Quick paced platforming with, again, an absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack. They’re not as easy as just getting around the map, and they’re so fun. I love them immensely. Ori also borrows the charm system from Hollow Knight, giving them even more versatility, and it’s so good. There’s already videos online about Ori with a gatling gun setup. Y’all, if you’re getting tired of video games like Density 1 or 2, these games are definitely the way to go. Blind Forest is on Steam for $20 (which is a steal), and Will of the Wisps for $30. I’m not sure what the console prices are, hopefully the same. I highly recommend both games with as much enthusiasm as I can give in text. Cheers, I’ll see you guys around more.
