I'm really starting to lose confidence in Bungie's mystery "Anti-cheat" thing they have going on. In the TWB where dmg said that they had already banned "thousands of accounts", I honestly said to myself "Heck yea, go get 'em." Recently, playing freelance or team survival, has gotten to the point where it is almost unplayable. Playing against the same cheaters 4 or 5 games in a row really kills the desire to play anymore. It's not like the people I'm playing are just insanely good, because let's be honest, even the top 100 players whiff a headshot now and again. When you check these people's stats, they are on 4 hour old accounts that have only played survival, and are dropping 12.0 k/ds with Aachen. I understand that maybe every now and then you'll run into a cheater, but its pretty ridiculous that I'm running into 7 or 8 in the span of 2 hours. Am I the only one that feels this way? I'm eager to read your thoughts.

I kind of forget what the anti-cheat system they have in place is - forgive me if I remember wrong, but it's a system where reports are made by players - then a Bungie employee examines their gameplay, footage, or whatever method they use to determine cheating from a report, then the Bungie employee strikes down the ban hammer on that account, correct? The reason why you're encountering the same cheaters 4 or 5 games in a row is because that process takes time. Perhaps in a week after your report, their accounts would be banned. Or not. Who knows how quickly they do these things? Overall, there should be a sort of system in place that detects whether outside software or whatever that is affecting the Destiny game on startup, or even on the startup of individual activity sessions. Whether this is possible - I wouldn't know because I'm not a tech person and thus not qualified, but if it can be done it should be done. About many cheaters on new accounts - see above. If I'm wrong about how the system works - ignore above.
