In mulitplayer activities, I was generating 2 laurels to every 15 my teammates were, because many Hunter Skills don't directly kill. I could NOT get super multikills with tethers to finish bounties. I failed to complete a lot of bounties because they were poorly balanced to what these classes were. In EVERY SINGLE Multiplayer activity, my damage laurels were being trumped by Titans, and then Warlocks (and most activities were filled with nothing but Titans. You ever try to get final blow kills with Hunter Grenades. This event has more or less made me stop playing, because I hunter main period. Allowing people to enter as whatever class they wanted, without consequence has effectively -blam!-ed over my ability to participate. I do not enjoy Warlock or Titan, I'm hunter all the way to my core, as far as class configurations go. I would have quit the event if I had to play as a Titan. I don't like Warlock or Titan armor (aside from the seasonal emblem sets), I've already spend hundreds of dollars on Hunter Items, and I couldn't give two shits for Titan and Warlock ability sets. I deleted every non-hunter I had on Destiny 1. So this event just made me quit. Congratulations. Also, everyone knows that Titans are laurel generating beasts. With weighting stacking towards them and ease of play, of course Titans are running away with this. ALL THIS SAID, I'm sorry to Bungie staff that you're having to make so many sacrifices during this pandemic, that many haven't had to. I know game developers are actually working way -blam!-ing harder than they would if they were at work with fixed hours. Working longer hours. My heart goes out to the Bungie staff, and I love you guys/girls/enbies/others. Destiny will always be a game I come back to. For as much as I complain, it is a game I complain about because I love it. Aside from being a hunter main, The Sidearms feel amazeballs right now still, Autorifles too, which traditionally have been my favorite weapons in Destiny 2. There is a lot of great machineguns, and SMG... If I were to rank them, it would be Sidearm, Shotgun/SMG tied, Autorifle, LMG, Fusion (All) for me as far as weapon ranks. I will say, I don't entirely mind using different weapons for bounties as way to try out other things and mix up my experience. But I want that bit to be more optional. Also, I'd love it if we got Havok Pigeon back. That aside. Really Bungie, take care of yourselves as well as possible. I think this pandemic has taken a toll on us all, and more than anything I feel what you intended with the event, and I appreciate the though. But it just doesn't work for me. Also, whenever things normalize, I think you need to invite a bunch of veteran MMORPG players to comment and offer advice as to where they game can go. I feel like this middle space Destiny 2 is coming from Activision split is a bad place for the game I love to play. As a veteran MMORPG player myself, Destiny 2 is missing so many things I would love to have to commit more of my time to it. And I think you should look at other MMORPG features and structures to get some more ideas in that regards. And please, make Gaurdian Games better next time.
