A mid season adjustment to a weapon that clearly needed a small nerf and the weapon stayed in a solid place. Separated pvp and pve on the weapon as well. Love it keep it up and keep in mind this is how adjustments should be made when needed. Some faith restored.

You won’t be killing people that are behind cover all the time now. Still laser beam and still melts but not across the entire map. Looks balanced now to me at least

It sucks

Bungiie was able to separate a weapon trait for PVP and PVE? They should have done that earlier.
-
Giving the gun damage falloff killed it. I'd rather use a legendary AR with superior range than HL now.

Edited by Darth Lunchbox: 4/30/2020 1:28:41 PMAs usual they over nerfed it, it only needed the double damage ricochet removed in PvP. And no, I don't use HL.
-
It’s still a problem. The TTK is what I hated about it, not the ricochet or the range. (I also hated the fact that it was so easy to use, your opponent can’t make a mistake. There’s no room for error when fighting an auto.) They just need to nerf all autos back to pre-worthy

They've been separating damage values between PvP and PvE for a long time now. It's the stats like stability, range, perks etc. This is what they don't separate which obviously ruins either PvP or PvE.
-
Love it too Although it didn't need the range nerf They could just limit the bouncing of shots to one bounce, to reduce spam and the dps to 1,35x But still, it's fine
-
They should nerf everything to be honest. I want to be as weak as I can be. You know, like I want to have to shoot someone for 20sec before I do any damage. It's the right thing to do. Like supers should be nerfed as well. So you have to hit people Three times to kill someone.

I’ve played against in Survival for the past few hours. It’s still very viable but no longer completely shuts down any other option. It’s still a laser. The bounce damage is dangerous if you’re low health but no longer ends you at max health before you realize what’s happening. It’s been very well dealt with and for this one thing Bungie definitely deserves some praise.
