Okay, so let me make things clear off the bat. I love Destiny 2 and really just Destiny as a whole. The game could be in the dumps and I'd still be at it grinding away. There is one issue in the current state of Destiny 2 I find bothering. That issue is definitely the lack of factions. Factions in Destiny 1 were, no joke, my all time favorite part of the game. I would spend hours and hours of grinding just to get that sweet sweet exotic New Monarchy titan mark, and let me say that I LOVE New Monarchy. Seriously, all my current gear that I love in Destiny 2 is in the colors of New Monarchy, it's an obsession (i bought the New Monarchy merch irl!). Anyway, back on track. So in Destiny 2 it feels as if there is a gaping hole in the game, at least to me, and like stated the factions are what my heart desires most. I know Bungie already stated they have no plans for faction rallies to return and I understand that, but really, why not just reintroduce the factions into the game as a vendor with some way, ANY WAY, to get packages. Make new faction guns, not the old ones with random rolls. Let us make donations to the faction that we support for progress towards a package. With the way Destiny 2 plays now, heck make faction bounties for tokens to turn in and I would still be super happy. I'm sure many fans, along with my clan (Odd Destiny Dudes) would appreciate the addition. Let us argue once more on which faction is the best and make it a blast. After all, isn't the current guardian games just kind of like a class based faction rally, in a vague way? I hold the Destiny 1 factions dear to my heart and it breaks it to see the items are simply in the legendary loot pool. New Monarchy for life! tl;dr factions were awesome in destiny 1 and brought people together, bring them back somehow. -OddCoconut
